How we got here
From venture capital to capital formation platform.
Greenhouse Capital was established in 2015 as the investment arm of Venture Garden Group, Africa's leading fintech infrastructure group.
For the first decade, we backed early-stage founders across fintech, mobility, logistics, and enterprise technology. We supported ventures from concept through to institutional-grade operations. Our most recognised investment, Flutterwave, became Africa's first fintech unicorn.
In 2026, we made a structural decision to transition from a traditional VC model into Africa's Capital Formation Platform, building the infrastructure that makes innovation investable at scale, not just case by case.
This evolution reflects what we learned: capital deployment alone is not enough. The ecosystem needs infrastructure.
